Trip for travelers interested in experiencing all possible tastes of Sri Lanka – sightseeing of the most important monuments listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, climbing unique Sigiriya Fortress, taking part in temple ceremony and even being a witness of a traditional wedding. There will also be an opportunity to ride an Elephant, have an Ayurveda massage, cook Sri Lankan food with a local family, go shopping for beautiful batiks or Sri Lankan gems and much more.

Day 1 Meet on arrival and transfer to a hotel in Negombo for overnight
Day 2 Start after breakfast to ANURADHAPURA – the first ancient capital of Sri Lanka, famous for its well-preserved ruins of ancient Sri Lankan civilization. Afternoon sightseeing of the sacred tree Sri Maha Bodhi documented as the oldest historical tree in the world (around 2300 years old) and remains of Buddhist monasteries from the 1st century BC, there are also interesting dagobas. Overnight stay near Habarana/ Sigiriya
Day 3 After early breakfast climb SIGIRIYA , one of the most important attractions in Sri Lanka. This outstanding Rock Fortress is famous for its Frescoes of more than 1500 years, Water Gardens and Mirror Wall. Afternoon elephant ride and then village walk – crossing lake by boat, visiting village cultivation, experiencing bullock cart ride, afterwards cooking and having lunch with a local family. In the evening traditional Ayurveda massage. Overnight stay in Habarana/ Sigiriya
Day 4 Visit after breakfast DAMBULLA Temp Cave Temple from the 1st century BC. One of the most beautiful temples in Sri Lanka with Buddha statues and paintings from the 17th century. Proceed to Kandy, the way visit a Spice and Herbal Garden and Batik Factory. In Kandy – the city known as treasury of medieval culture, arts and crafts – there will be opportunity to view traditional and colorful dance show. In the evening visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Overnight stay  in Kandy
Day 5 After breakfast visits to Arts and Craft Center, Gem Museum and Lapidary. Thereafter excursion to PINNAWELA Elephant Orphanage with possibility to see elephants’ bathe in the river. Afternoon transfer to NUWARA ELIYA – old colonial resort – with beautiful scenery over tea plantations and waterfalls, visit a tea factory en route. In the evening walk in the city with possibility to attend Hindu Temple ceremony. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya
Day 6 Start after breakfast to the south west coast visiting on the way Mlesna Tea Castle – extraordinary place with possibility of tasting and buying tea. Stop by the side of the river where the famous film “Bridge on the river Kwai” was made and the only place to experience white water rafting (optional ) Overnight stay in a beach resort
Day 7 After breakfast transfer to Ambalangoda and visit the Mask Museum and Traditional Dancing School. Afternoon optional boat cruise in the Madhu River with beautiful islands, colorful birds and a visit to cinnamon island or explore GALLE Dutch Fort. Overnight stay in a beach resort
Day 8 Departure transfer to the airport in Colombo or optional stay in a chosen hotel on the beach. On the way to the airport sightseeing tour of the capital of Sri Lanka – Colombo.
