Day 1 Meet on arrival and transfer to a hotel close to Colombo for overnight
Day 2 Start after breakfast to ANURADHAPURA – the first ancient capital of Sri Lanka, famous for its well-preserved ruins of ancient Sri Lankan civilization. Afternoon sightseeing of the sacred tree Sri Maha Bodhi documented as the oldest historical tree in the world (around 2300 years old) and remains of Buddhist monasteries from the 1st century BC. Among ruins there are also interesting dagobas. Overnight stay near Habarana/ Sigiriya
Day 3 After breakfast transfer to POLONNARUWA – the second ancient capital of Sri Lanka and the UNESCO World Heritage site. After sightseeing of the ancient city optional elephant ride in Habarana. Late afternoon climb SIGIRIYA, one of the most important attraction in Sri Lanka. This outstanding Rock Fortress is famous for its Frescoes of more than 1500 years, Water Gardens and Mirror Wall. Overnight stay  in Habarana/ Sigiriya
Day 4 After breakfast visit DAMBULLA CaveTemple, from the 1st century BC. One of the most beautiful temples in Sri Lanka with Buddha statues and paintings from the XVIII century. On the way to KANDY visit a Spice and Herbal Garden. In Kandy – city known as treasury of medieval culture, arts and crafts – opportunity to view traditional and colorful dance show. In the evening visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Overnight stay in Kandy
Day 5 After breakfast visit the PERADENIYA Botanical Garden in Kandy with royal palms and tropical vegetation. Excursion to PINNAWELA Elephant Orphanage with possibility to see elephants’ bathe in the river. Return to Kandy and in the evening visit Arts and Craft Center, Gem Museum and Lapidary. Overnight stay in Kandy
Day 6 Early morning optional extraordinary train trip with picturesque views over tea plantations and waterfalls to NUWARA ELIYA, old colonial resort. Late afternoon visit a tea factory – possibility of tasting and buying tea. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya
Day 7 Early start with picnic breakfast to HORTON PLAINS, the most beautiful nature reserve also known as the “World’s End”, enjoy the breakfast with a breathtaking view. Afternoon explore Nuwara Eliya on foot. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya
Day 8 Start after breakfast to Tissamaharama via ELLA. It’s a spectacular drive with beautiful scenery, waterfalls and lake. Afternoon safari in the YALA NATIONAL PARK. Overnight  stay in Tissamaharama
Day 9 Set out after breakfast for Hikkaduwa visiting GALLE Dutch Fort – walk around and explore the Fort. Afternoon leisure on the beach. Overnight stay in Hikkaduwa
Day 10 Departure transfer to the airport in Colombo or optional stay in a chosen hotel on the beach. On the way to the airport sightseeing tour of the capital of Sri Lanka – Colombo.
